KELLERHOLZ is a modern industrial saw mill in the south-west of Germany. Located in the town of Lichtenau, the mill processes more than 120 000 solid cubic metres of round timber a year. The company sources its premium-quality, valuable raw material locally from the Black Forest, Palatinate Forest, Rhine Valley, Alsace and the Vosges to ensure a small carbon footprint. KELLERHOLZ produces packaging timber of various dimensions.
Jörg Keller, Managing Partner of KELLERHOLZ, took over the company in 2004 and introduced sweeping modernisation. Kellerholz soon tripled its production volume. Adding a short timber station and replacing several machines has enabled an additional 40 000 solid cubic metres of round timber to be processed.
Once the main production lines had been modernised, the huge increase in productivity enabled the company to bring on board new customers not only from Germany but France, Benelux, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Serbia, Luxembourg, Israel, USA, China, Japan etc. The modern industrial saw mill's national and international customer base continues to be developed today.
Growth brings with it environmental and social responsibility. And because the people who work for Kellerholz are so important to the company now and in the future, we have long valued in-house training in partnership with the best training institutes in Baden Württemberg.
